Joseph Green is a spoken word artist, educator, and narrative disruptor with over 20 years of experience creating dialogue that’s led to success in classrooms, boardrooms, and living rooms. He believes strongly in storytelling’s innate ability to connect people to their higher purpose and to one another – creating a world that is a better place for everyone. Joseph also serves as the CEO of LMSvoice, an educational consulting and production company.

Brian Hannon is the Director of Secondary Curriculum for LMSvoice. He currently teaches AP Literature and Composition, AP Language and Composition, and Team-Taught English 11 at Hayfield Secondary School in Alexandria, Virginia. Brian was the co-founder of the poetryN.O.W., a non-profit organization that partnered with schools in the area to provide educators with the materials and resources necessary to cultivate spoken-word poetry clubs in their schools. As an educator with over 15 years of experience working with youth of all ages and backgrounds, Ms. Sams has heard every label: troubled, disadvantaged, challenged, at-risk, high-risk… the list goes on and on. Labels are used when adults do not want to take the time to go deeper to uncover what makes a young person thrive.

Jamila Sams has experience in making the impossible possible with a “No Excuses” approach to change. She started her career as an elementary teacher at Robert W.
